Welcome

The Brahma Kumaris are a non-violent organisation working towards a better world. We have a greeting “Om Shanti” literally meaning “I am Peace” and we encourage the development of qualities such as Love, Kindness and Compassion. We believe in non-violence to such an extent, that we aim as far as possible not to harm ourselves, by not performing any negative karma or not to harm anything external to ourselves, including all living beings and the environment. We understand that we are spiritual beings, souls, separate from the body and aim to bring this consciousness into our awareness. With this awareness, we go beyond name and form, we see all living beings as worthy of respect and love. We go beyond race, sex, religion, caste, age, etc. and even species.
